In a world where humanity's survival depends on gatekeepers battling monstrous invasions through mysterious dimensional gates, Kieran Voss is the weakest hunter—ignored, ridiculed, and left for dead by the system he was born into. When he unexpectedly unlocks the Forsaken System, an archaic and secret leveling mechanism that grants unparalleled power but at a deadly cost, he embarks on a relentless ascent from forsaken to feared. As Kieran climbs the ranks, he unearths buried conspiracies that reveal the system is being manipulated by a shadowy cabal determined to rewrite reality itself. While his new strength threatens to save or destroy humanity, the true test lies in whether Kieran can control the system’s dark demands without losing his soul. Surrounded by enemies, allies who betray, and his own unraveling sanity, he must confront the ultimate question: is power worth the price if it means losing everything he loves?
